Man who filed a lawsuit against the City of L.A.

In 2020, Artak Muradyan had a civil lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles, Artak Muradyan v. City of Los Angeles (Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC719223; Claim No. C18-03946), arising from a trip-and-fall on the sidewalk of Fulton Avenue near Victory Boulevard. The City Attorney requested a closed session to discuss settlement of the litigation, and on June 24, 2020, the Los Angeles City Council adopted the item approving the matter, by a 14–0 vote, with Jose Huizar absent; the Council action was finalized June 25.
