Khassuuriin Gankhuyag

Russian-speaking deputy prime minister of Mongolia

Khassuuryn Gankhuyag was born in 1977 in Ulaanbaatar. He is a Mongolian businessman and politician. He founded the Khera Group and ran as an independent candidate in the 2016 State Great Khural (Parliament) elections.

Gankhuyag attended the Mongolian-Russian Joint 3rd Secondary School from 1984 to 1994 and graduated from the School of International Relations at the National University of Mongolia (NUM) with a degree in Foreign Service from 1994 to 1999.

He studied Business Administration and General Management for Executives at Harvard University in the USA from 2013 to 2014, International Economics at the National Academy of the Republic of Korea in 2015, and Mining Engineering and Sustainable Development Governance at the University of British Columbia in Canada in 2018.

His name written in Mongolian Cyrillic is Хассуурийн Ганхуяг.
