USC freshman who lost eye after being hit by a federal agent’s projectile at a Los Angeles ‘No Kings’ protest on March 28, 2026.

Tucker Collins was struck in his right eye by a less-lethal projectile fired by a Department of Homeland Security agent

The 18-year-old was documenting a protest outside the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles.

The projectile destroyed his eyeball and fractured the bones in his eye socket.

Collins has retained V. James DeSimone as his attorney.
